Unai Emery will be desperate to lift the gloom at Villa Park by finally delivering Aston Villa’s first Premier League win of the season at home to Fulham.

Villa have endured a dismal start to the season, picking up just three points from their first five games, scoring only one goal. They do come into the game off the back of a victory in midweek but they failed to fully convince in their 1-0 home win over Bologna in the Europa League.

Fulham’s season has sparked into lift with three consecutive wins in all competitions, seeing off Brentford 3-1 in their last Premier League game.

Emery has decided to stick with Morgan Rogers and Ollie Watkins in the hope the duo can rediscover their form after a poor start to the campaign.

Liverpool loanee Harvey Elliott makes his first Premier League start for the club, with Boubacar Kamara not fit to start as Lamare Bogarde partners John McGinn in midfield.
