The Miami Heat have signed guard Gabe Madsen and waived Trevor Keels.

Madsen, who was originally signed by the Heat on September 11 and waived on September 25, played four seasons at the University of Utah and concluded his collegiate career as the school’s all-time leader in three-point field goals made. He became the first player in program history to record at least 100 made three-point field goals in consecutive seasons.

Keels, who was originally signed by the Heat on September 11, appeared in two preseason games with Miami and averaged 6.0 points, 2.0 assists, 1.5 rebounds, 1.00 steals and 22.6 minutes while shooting 4-of-12 from the field, 2-of-6 from three-point range and 2-of-2 from the line.
