Tired of scanning the internet for data pertaining to data releases in this new world? Pawel Skrzypczynski has an extremely useful website compiling latest estimates of data releases, updated continuously. Here’s today’s table:

Waiting for Data: Schedule and Alternative Business Cycle Indicators

Source: Pawel Skrzypczynskiaccessed 25 Nov 2025.

For those interested in alternative business cycle indicators (key NBER BCDC indicators discussed here), here are latest GDO, coincident index, vehicle miles traveled, and freight services, among others.

Figure 1: Implied Nonfarm Payroll early benchmark (NFP) (bold blue), civilian employment adjusted smoothed population controls (bold orange), manufacturing production (red), ADP private nonfarm payroll employment (green), real retail sales (black), vehicle miles traveled (tan), and coincident index in Ch.2017$ (pink), GDO (blue bars), all log normalized to 2021M11=0. Source: Philadelphia Fed [1], Philadelphia Fed [2]Bureau of Transportation Statistics, Federal Reserve via FRED, BEA 2025Q2 third release, and author’s calculations.

The “freight recession” [1] [2] shows up in the statistics starkly, while retail sales ex-food sales is down.
