The Phoenix Suns have waived forward Nathan Mariano and wing Sean McDermott. Both Mariano and McDermott are expected to join the Valley Suns for the upcoming G League season.
Phoenix’s roster now stands at 17 players. The Suns have 14 players on standard contracts and three players signed to two-way contracts. Phoenix will carry an open standard roster spot into the regular season.
