    Manchester United v Tottenham preview

Michael Carrick’s in–form United host Tottenham as they look to keep up a push for a top-four finish on Saturday.

Carrick has worked wonders since taking interim charge with United looking much more like their old selves, while Spurs start the weekend down in 14th place with no wins in their last six in the league.

Tottenham are unbeaten in their last eight meetings with Manchester United in all competitions though, and if they can find the form they have consistently shown in the Champions League on Saturday then have every chance of extending that record.

For Carrick and United, it’s a fourth win in a row on the agenda. The Red Devils last won four in a row in February 2024 under Erik ten Hag, while they last had a longer run without defeat in February 2022 (eight under Ralf Rangnick).

Man United v Tottenham team news

United are without defenders Matthijs de Ligt and Patrick Dorgu, while Mason Mount is a perrenial doubt and has a knock from training.

Benjamin Sesko is hoping to start after his dramatic late winner against Fulham.

Spurs are still without a host of attackers but have been boosted by the return to form of Dominic Solanke in recent weeks.

Key defender Micky van de Ven could also return.

Manchester United v Spurs predicted line ups

Manchester United starting XI: Lammens; Dalot, Maguire, Martinez, Shaw; Casemiro, Mainoo; Diallo, Fernandes, Cunha; Mbeumo

Tottenham starting XI: Vicar; Spence, Romero, Van of Ven, Udogi; Bissouma, Gaelic; Odobert, Simons, Music Collo; Solanke

How to watch Man United v Spurs: TV channel, online live streams

This match starts at 12:30 GMT (07:30 ET / 04:30 PT) on Saturday. Live TV coverage in the UK is on TNT Sports 1, TNT Sports Ultimate and the Discovery Plus app.

TNT Sports costs £29.99 a month through Discovery Plus, which includes Eurosport and entertainment and is available on a vast range of devices including smart TVs and gaming consoles.
