Most of the steps that were supposed to be completed by the end of December have been completed; let’s see what still needs to be finished, wrapped up, and from April we should slowly pick up the pace to become the best in the Western Balkans. That is our goal, said Mickoski.

Skopje – Prime Minister Christian Mickoski stated today in Kavadarci that the Government is working on the implementation of the Reform Agenda within the Growth Plan and expects that sometime in April we will be the best among the countries of the Western Balkans.

    – I think that what was lagging behind, and was included in this one-year grace period until June 2025, that is, 8 or 10 of those 12 steps are already completed. Most of the steps that were supposed to be completed by the end of December are completed, we will see what needs to be completed, to be finalized, and slowly from April to catch up so that we are the best in the Western Balkans. That is our goal. Then we leave it to the European Union itself whether it will allow itself to be a hostage of bilateralization or will objectively look at the achievements of the countries that are candidates for membership, said Mickoski.

He announced that this weekend or at the latest on Monday or Tuesday there will be a thematic meeting on the progress of the Reform Agenda.

    – In the past we did many things to move forward in that process, we continue to do many things. From here I have a meeting in my Cabinet to define the meetings in the coming period. I expect this weekend, if not Monday/Tuesday, to have a thematic meeting on the progress of the Reform Agenda, to see where we are, what we have completed, what still needs to be completed, although I think that we have gone through many things at a government session, many things are already in Parliament, said Mickoski in a statement to the media during the visit to the Municipality of Kavadarci.
