The New Orleans Pelicans and free agent forward Jalen McDaniels have agreed to a contract. New Orleans has one open standard spot on their regular season roster and is approximately $4.2 million under the luxury tax line.
McDaniels appeared in four NBA games with the Washington Wizards last season. The 6-foot-9 forward has always played for the Charlotte Hornets, Philadelphia 76ers and Toronto Raptors during his six-year NBA career.
In 38 G League games with the Capital City Go-Go last season, McDaniels averaged 13.5 points and 7.2 rebounds per game.
