    Equatorial Guinea and Sudan continue their 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) Group E campaigns on Sunday in Casablanca.

    The National Thunder lost their opener in extraordinary style, taking an 85th-minute lead against Burkina Faso before conceding twice during added time.

    Champions in 1970, Sudan had a tough start this time with a 3-0 defeat to an Algeria side ranked 83 places above them by FIFA.
