The Dallas Mavericks have officially re-signed guard Dante Exum. The Mavericks had to wait to re-sign Exum until they cleared room under their second-apron hard cap. Dallas did so by waiving-and-stretching Olivier-Maxence Prosper last week.
Exum has played for the last two seasons with the Mavs, after returning from an overseas stint with Barcelona and Partizan. Exum has also played for the Utah Jazz and Cleveland Cavaliers during his NBA career.
Last season. Exum played in 20 games during an injury plagued season. In 75 games with the Mavericks over two seasons, the 30-year-old wing has averaged 8.0 points on 52/47/77 shooting splits.
