An early version of House Republicans’ “big, beautiful” bill of President Donald Trump’s tax and spending priorities proposed eliminating federal Medicaid funding for gender-affirming health care for minors alone. Darius Garland has undergone surgery to repair a great toe injury and will be out approximately four to five months. Garland played through the injury during the Cleveland Cavaliers’ playoff run where they were eliminated by the Indiana Pacers in five games. Garland averaged 20.6 points, 2.9 rebounds and 6.7 assists in 75 games this past season for the Cavaliers. Garland also had a career high PER of 19.6 while he made his second career All-Star Game.
