The San Antonio Spurs have a trio of veterans nearing returns to play. Star guard De’Aaron Fox took part in a five-on-five scrimmage on Friday. The Spurs hope that Fox, who is recovering from a hamstring strain, will return by the end of October. Big man Kelly Olynyk and versatile forward Jeremy Sochan also took part in the scrimmage and appear to be closing in on returning. Olynyk is recovering from heel surgery. Sochan is working his way back from a wrist injury.
