We at the Cultural Trust are deeply dismayed by the federal government’s recent cuts to the Institute of Museum and Library Services (IMLS) and the National Endowment for the Humanities. Those cuts will dramatically reduce vital programs and services for Oregonians provided by Oregon Humanities, the State Library of Oregon and the many museums across the state that receive funding directly from IMLS.
