Ryen Russillo will leave The Ringer to launch a new digital production company with the backing of Dave Portnoy and Barstool Sports. Russillo has been with The Ringer since leaving ESPN in 2019 and has been a mainstay on The Bill Simmons Podcast during the NBA season in addition to hosting his own podcast. The Ringer hired Zach Lowe late in the 2024-25 season for both his own podcast and for frequent appearances with Simmons.
