Chelsea have been charged with 74 breaches of Football Association rules relating to payments to agents between 2009 and 2022. The charges primarily centre around events that took place between the 2010-11 and 2015-16 seasons, when Roman Abramovich was the club’s owner, and concern agents, intermediaries and third-party investments in players. Abramovich owned Chelsea from 2003 to 2022, when the club was sold to a consortium fronted by Todd Boehly and Clearlake Capital. Chelsea have until September 19 to respond to the charges. President Donald Trump has made his wind power aversion well known. On at least five separate occasions recently, he called windmills ugly, expensive and altogether useless. His Transportation Department canceled $679 million in federal funding that would have benefited offshore wind projects, and his Interior Department ordered work to stop on a major wind project off Rhode Island that was nearly finished.
