Wrexham have been rebuffed after making an ambitious move to sign former Manchester United midfielder Christian Eriksen. The Denmark international left Old Trafford last month following the expiration of his contract and was immediately targeted by the North Wales club, who are preparing for life in the Championship after three successive promotions.
