Dennis Smith Jr. signed a one-year deal with the Dallas Mavericks, reported Shams Charania of ESPN.
Smith was originally selected by the Mavs with the No. 9 pick in the 2017 draft.
The team currently have a full roster, though Brandon Williams is on a partially guaranteed deal.
Smith, who recently worked out with the Knicks, played for Real Madrid last season.
The 27-year-old is averaged 9.7 points and 4.2 assists over seven seasons in the NBA.
