“I don’t like using ceiling, because I feel like it’s a skill game. You know what I mean? And as long I can keep working on my game, working on my craft — guys didn’t think Jalen Brunson was gonna be who he was gonna be, they didn’t think Shai [Gilgeous-Alexander] was gonna be who he was gonna be, but it’s a skilled game, it’s an IQ game — and that’s what I really want to dig in deep. People don’t think I’mma be able to be a great, great player — I love that, man. That’s what I feed off of, so I want to be able to continue to improve to prove my game and want to be able to improve in all facets of my game. And I think the Summer League has given me the most opportunity in this coaching staff and their belief in me – it’s given me the most opportunity to go out there and make mistakes, and mistakes are ultimately gonna make me better.”
