    In a recent appearance on Sactown Sports in Sacramento, Sam Amick gave some insight into the Sacramento Kings thinking with their backcourt. One player that Kings GM Scott Perry is fond of is Russell Westbrook. However, Sacramento has a logjam in the backcourt and no signing seems imminent.

    Westbrook is a free agent after declining a player option with the Denver Nuggets for the upcoming season. He’s been linked to a handful of teams throughout the offseason, but no deal has come to fruition for the veteran point guard as of yet.

    Sacramento added Dennis Schroder, as they prioritized signing a veteran point guard this offseason. Schroder is joining returnees Zach LaVine, Malik Monk, Keon Ellis and Devin Carter in the Kings backcourt.
