Jared Dudley has agreed to become the top assistant coach for the Denver Nuggets under David Adelman.
Dudley has been on the coaching staff of the Dallas Mavericks under Jason Kidd since his retirement as a player in 2021.
Adelman is in his first full season as head coach of the Nuggets after the dismissal of Michael Malone. The Nuggets didn’t retain the majority of Malone’s other assistants.
The Nuggets also had interest in James Borrego for the top assistant coach job, but they were denied permission by the New Orleans Pelicans.
