Kylian Mbappe is back to lead the attack as Real Madrid look to bounce back from their humiliating Copa del Rey loss to Albacete in midweek.

Alvaro Arbeloa’s first game in charge of Los Blancos proved a nightmare as they slumped to a 3-2 defeat at the hands of a side 17th in the Segunda.

The result has placed Arbeloa under instant pressure, with Xabi Alonso’s replacement fielding criticism for resting several star players for the Copa clash and fielding a younger side.

Levante are second-bottom in LaLiga following promotion last season and Madrid have a likely tougher assignment against Monaco in the Champions League on Tuesday. Despite the kind nature of the fixture and the eye Madrid may have on their European commitments, the likes of Jude Bellingham, Mbappe and Aurélien Tchouaméni are all back in the line-up.

    Real Madrid team news

A strong-looking Real side really need a home win. Real line up in a 4-3-3 with youngster Gonzalo Garcia alongside Mbappe and Vinicius Jr in attack. Trent Alexander-Anold is still missing.
