Burkina Faso and Equatorial Guinea start their 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) Group E campaigns on Wednesday in Casablanca.

The Stallions were finalists in 2013 and qualified for the latest edition behind Senegal, including a 1-1 draw against the 2021 champions in Dakar.

Equatorial Guinea collected eight points from six qualifying games to advance behind Algeria, who they held to a 0-0 draw in Malabo.
