It’s a new setback for the Barca star.

Barcelona will be without Fermin Lopez for two weeks because of a calf injury.

Fermin has already missed four games this season because of injury, and will now be on the sideline for three LaLiga games and a Champions League clash after his latest setback.

Barcelona wrote on their official website: “Fermín has a minor injury in the soleus of his right leg and the approximate recovery time will be two weeks.”

The attacking midfielder has seven goals and four assists in all competitions this season.

Which Barcelona games will Fermin miss?

Should the recovery time prove accurate, then Barca will be without Fermin for Saturday’s LaLiga clash with Alaves, Tuesday’s huge clash with Atletico Madrid and the trip to Real Betis on December 6.

In addition, he also looks set to miss out on the Champions League clash with Eintracht Frankfurt on December 9.

Barca were dreadful in the Champions League on Tuesday as they slumped to a 3-0 defeat to Chelsea.

Yet the visit of Alaves gives them the chance to pile pressure on Real Madrid in the LaLiga title race and, at least temporarily, go top of the table.

Hansi Flick’s side are a point behind Madrid, who face Girona on Sunday.
